The first step is to learn more about your project. We can do this over the phone, but an on-site visit is best.

Each job is different. I start with a project description so we're on the same page and then outline the proposed scope of services and the corresponding fee.

This is the fun part. I don't have any preconceived notions about style except for simple, clean lines so the more you bring to it, the more I have to work with and the better the results will be.

Working drawings come next. You'll need them to get a building permit and to give potential contractors enough information for an accurate bid.

This varies, particularly with renovations and additions, but a good rule of thumb is 3 to 6 months for small projects; 6 to 9 months for additions, and 6 months to a year for new construction.
